Objectives:

  This workshop is aim to train the health system officials, doctors and laboratory technicians in tropical and subtropical regions in ASEAN. Let them learn the developed technologies of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of major diseases in tropical regions, especially thalassemia. To establish a good platform for technical exchanges and cooperations, and enhance the national friendships and cooperations in the field of medical technology between China and our neighboring countries.

Programs:

  To introduce the developments in technologies of clinical and genetic diagnosis, treatment and prevention, prenatal and pre-implantation diagnosis, stem cell therapy of major diseases in tropical regions, especially thalassemia.
