Description?o Beijing JTV Science & Technology Development Co. Ltd (hereinafter abbreviated as JTV) is a major provider of software applications and services to end-users, from enterprises to government organizations in the Railway Vehicle Management sector.
Invested by Harbin Veic Co. Ltd. in 1998, JTV has developed and implemented a wide range of applications, and many of which have been accredited by the Ministry of Railway (MOR). In 2001, the Freight Vehicle Management Information System (HMIS) won the Ministry of Science & Technology Imbursement Fund for medium and small enterprises. Up to today, the market coverage of HMIS in Railway sector has reached 70% across China. The annual sales was close to 40 million Chinese Yuan ($4.8 million) in 2002. One of the key strategies of development for JTV is to establish a wide range partnership worldwide. JTV has formed strategic and technology alliance with many IT giants, such as Lenovo, IBM and Huawei Group, Oracle, etc.. In 2003, JTV teamed up with Kingdee, providing ERP solutions for enterprises in railway sector. Last year, JTV became the general distributor in China of TagMaster, which is a world leading provider of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.
