Mr. CAI Jianing, a CPC member and a senior engineer, now serves as Deputy Director-General of DIC, MOST. CAI started working in July 1985 and successively served China Building Materials Academy, Department of International Economic Cooperation of State Bureau of Building Materials Industry, Department of Personnel of State Economic and Trade Commission and DIC of MOST. He has taken several posts in DIC, successively as Director of International Organizations and Conferences, Science and Technology Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the US, Associate Counsel and Deputy Director-General of DIC.
