Zhu Xuehua, a CPC member, now serves as Deputy Director-General of DIC. He started working at the State Science and Technology Commission (later renamed as Ministry of Science and Technology, MOST) in April 1992. He used to be deputy director of the General Office and then the Division of Overseas Personnel under the Department of Personnel. Later he worked as second and then first secretary of the Chinses Embassy in Australia before being appointed as director of the Division of Overseas Personnel of MOST, and then member, senior inspector and later deputy head of the MOST-based Discipline Inspection Team from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
